Kivett Cousins

We got a chance to get all the Kivett's together this past Saturday to celebrate Father's Day. We couldn't even remember when we were all under one roof--it has been a real long time. Benjamin hadn't seen his cousins since his party in February. We had a good time hanging out!

Two and a Half

Benjamin is two and a half today. What in the world? Where did the little baby go? We miss the infant he used to be but enjoying the heck out of who he is now. Gregarious, inquisitive, empathetic, and loving. And busy. As he tells us all the time, "Me busy." Or, "Me gettin' busy," which actually means he's getting dizzy.

Today was spent indoors. Poor Bug has been sick the last few days and it has been really hot outside so we have been in the house resting, along with Halmuni. Hopefully he will be well again soon and we can do something more active to celebrate this milestone. Two and a half. Our baby is two and a half....

Mit Dee See

Benjamin is eager to see and understand everything. One of his most uttered phrases is, "Let me see!" Interpreted into Bug-ese and it is "Mit Dee See!" One of mommy's favorite things to hear :)

Not That Right

When correcting us Benjamin says,

"Not that riiiight."

And it sounds perfectly right.

Hen-er-y

Last night when I was cooking dinner and Henry was in our room down the hall I heard Benjamin singing to himself. As I listened closer I heard,

"Hen-er-y. Hen-er-y. Bock, bock, bock! Hen-er-y. Hen-er-y. Bock, bock, bock!"

Daddy's a chicken.

Also, most of the time when you ask Benjamin what his own name is 8 out of 10 times he will say Bug. Other times he will give his first or whole name. But he expertly knows all of our full names. First, middle, and last. He is very cute reciting the formal-ness that comes with a proper full name. Henry Saundahs Kibett and Nisha Kim Copy. So cute.
