Tummy Time

Here are some pics of Ben during his daily tummy time.

Wow, what a neck!

Since the first day of life Benjamin has been able to lift and turn his head unassisted. Here are some examples of his very strong neck muscles.

Milk Drunk

Little Benjamin often passes out after nursing, looking like this. Click on the picture for the messy details.

HOLY $#!&!! ONE MONTH OLD ALREADY!

As of yesterday, January 22, 2008, Benjamin is a whole month old!

Seems like we just got home from the hospital! I can't believe it's been a month.
On the other hand, it also seems like we've known this little guy forever and ever... and I guess from his point of view, we have.

Check him out- he's already standing up... well, with a little help.

Already looks old and tired too!
(maybe learning to sleep more than 30 minutes at a time will rejuvinate him)

4 WEEKS OLD!!

As of today, Saturday, January 19, 2008, Benjamin is 4 weeks old! Seems like just yesterday he was 3 weeks and 6 days old! Time sure flies!

He spent the day eating. And eating. And eating. Then some naps. Then some more eating. Another nap, and then some dessert!

I'm not sure I trust this daddy guy.

Sometimes he tries to eat my head.

Mom's nice, though.
(but she eats my head too sometimes!)

So Big Small

Benjamin is growing everyday. Sometimes it seems each minute he looks like a different, grown-up baby. But then our perspective snaps back and we realize how tiny he really is. His entire fist can fit around the top of Henry's thumb. What a little finger monkey!

Pooping the Day Away

Benjamin's two week appointment with the pediatrician went well. At two weeks they like to see babies back up to their birth weight but Ben went past it, he weighed a whopping 5 lbs. 9 ozs from his original 5 lbs. 5 ozs. He grew almost a whole inch in two weeks as well. All that nursing is paying off!

We caught a series of pics of him pooping that we thought we would share because this is what he spends a lot of his day doing. Note the look of concentration.
