Already?

This afternoon I was lying in the bed with Benjamin. Well, I was lounging and he was sitting up playing with a curious assortment of things--a plastic toy band aid cuff, my foot arch support sling, a paper/plastic bowl, and a handful of goldfish crackers. His lips were pooched out in deep concentration as he stratigically placed the goldfish inside the sling and next to the cuff, round and round. He was so darned cute I wanted to just eat him up! So I asked him, "Can you give Mommy a kiss?" Without looking up he says, "I can't." I asked why and he said, "Me busy." So I waited. A minute or so later I ask again. "I can't. Me busy." *sigh* He's already too busy to kiss his Mommy.
